Belize Flag State Circular TD-IMM-GOB002-24 - Code of Conduct for Tokyo MOU

The Belize flag state has recently taken important action.International Registry of Merchant Shipping (IMMARBE)In order to eliminate substandard vessels from the fleet and continuously improve performance under the Tokyo MoU, clear documented instructions have been given to discourage vessel detentions through a re-issued Code of Conduct, while taking simple and effective actions to prevent vessels from being detained again.This company reissues the Belize Circular dated February 9, 2024 to draw the attention of all shipowners, ship management companies and ship masters to the following circular and to keep good records of your ships’ Tokyo MOU inspections.
